We Buy Your Trading Cards
Whether you are rotating your current deck, clearing out a pristine binder, or trading up for sealed boxes, Foil & Flux offers competitive rates and transparent appraisals.
How It Works
Bring Your Cards
Drop by the shop with your collection. We review everything from unsorted bulk boxes to fully curated rare binders. No appointment is strictly necessary for smaller drops.
Expert Appraisal
Our staff will verify set printings, check current market valuations, and accurately grade the condition of your singles. We take pride in explaining our pricing logic to you directly.
Get Paid
Once the appraisal is complete, choose your payout method. We offer competitive cash buy-rates, or you can opt for a store credit bonus to immediately fuel your next draft.
What We Are Looking For
We maintain an active inventory to support our thriving play community. While we evaluate all trading card game items, we are currently prioritizing the following:
-
High-Demand Singles Format staples, alternate arts, and competitive pieces for top tier decks.
-
Sealed Product Unopened booster boxes, elite bundles, and out-of-print sealed sets.
-
Complete Collections Full binders and sorted lot boxes. We will price out the hits and offer a bulk rate on the rest.
Appraisal Guidelines
The payout for your singles heavily depends on their condition. We utilize strict, community-standard grading to ensure fairness for both sellers and future buyers.
Near Mint (NM)
Cards show minimal to no wear from shuffling or general play. Clean edges, unclouded foil, and crisp corners command our highest buy rates.
Lightly Played (LP)
Minor border wear, slight scratching, or small scuffs are visible. These still look great in a sleeve, but buy prices are adjusted down slightly.
Moderately Played (MP)
Noticeable edge wear, visible scratching, or mild creasing. We buy MP format staples, but often pass on MP bulk or low-demand singles.
Damaged / Heavily Played
Water damage, heavy creasing, or peeling edges. We rarely purchase heavily damaged stock unless it holds significant historical rarity.
